The manuscript contains homiletic commentaries, extracts from the Author’s books Kutonet Shesh and Amude Shesh, responsa and lists of the author’s family members from between the years תק"ץ-תר"ד (from 1739 to 1843).

Usage stains, smudged ink.

Slight iron gall ink corrosion in some places.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 618: inscribed with his name on fol. 1r; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924: inscribed, back flyleaf (iii)v; date of accession: 26 April 1929: inscribed on back flyleaf (ii)v.
