The portions of the Ms., foil. 1 — i, 9—29, and 238—267, were written in the 1st year of the reign of John (I.) and Sabla Wangel, A.D. 1668, as appears from the long colophon on f. 258.f. 180r. belongs to an earlier period. It is the last leaf of another work, namely, the Acts of S. Matthias, translated into ^Ethiopic from Arabic by one John.ff. 5—8r. are later, written about the beginning of the 18th century.
