Rashi's Commentary on Genesis and Exodus
Contents
Rashi's Commentary on the Books of Genesis and Exodus.
Language(s): Hebrew
ff. 2r-214rTitle: פרוש התורה לרש"י (בראשית-שמות)Title: Perush ha-Torah le-Rashi (Be-reshit-Shemot)Fols. 213r-213v: a supplement to Ma’ase ha-Efod.
One of the death records on fol. 213v has a dubious dating: "בשנת אלף ושב מאות לשטרות", a later hand (same as the one who added the Arabic foliation in pen) completed it as such: "אלף ושבע מאות" and thus interpreted the date as 1700 SE = 1389 CE. The position of the note - running vertically in the outer margin of another death note clearly dated to 1520- on the page suggest that this date cannot be correct.
