Begins with a Hafṭarah for the first day of Passover, written solely in Aramaic, with vowel points and accents.

Fols. 2v-8r: Hafṭarah for the eighth day of Passover, written solely in Aramaic.

From fol. 3r Each verse is followed by a Ladino translation.

Fols. 8r-18r: Hafṭarah for the seventh day of Passover.

Fol. 18r-22v: Hafṭarah for the second day of Passover.

Fol. 22v-25v: Hafṭarah for the Sabbath and weekdays of Passover.

Provenance and Acquisition

Fragmentary ownership inscription(?) on back flyleaf (i)r: " זה הסיפר זה הספר שלי לכן נחתם שמי שלא... יבא נחתם שמ...".

M. Gaster's note about acquisition on fol. 1r: "fr. S. I. Cohen 12. IX. 95."

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 180: inscribed with his name on fol. 25v; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924: inscribed on back flyleaf (ii)v; date of accession 30 January 1928: inscribed on back flyleaf (i)v.
