Among others it contains: simanim of the weekly Torah portions, סימון להתחברות הסדרים, simanim of the weekly Torah portions in Aramaic, simanim for Nevi’im-Ketuvim, for Mishneh Torah and for the Mishnah (1a-5a), a bakashah by Menahem De Lonzano (ff. 5r-5v), angelic names from the book Berit Menuḥah (ff. 5v-7r), the poem אל מסתתר בשפריר חביון by Avraham Maimon (ff. 10v-12r), the poem שיר ויכוח כ"י עם דודה by Hayim ha-Kohen of Aleppo (ff. 12r-15v).

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 235: inscribed with his name on ff. 1r, 15v; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 15 February 1928: inscribed on back flyleaf (v)r.
