Materials: Thin board, gilt, 8 lines per side. Bound between a pair of gilt and lacquered binding boards, with animals in square panels and roundels.
Dimensions: 540 mm x100 mm
Script: Burmese.
Ribbon: Sazigyo, size 32 mm x 3980 mm, made from cotton yarn in the tablet weaving technique by backstraploom. Text woven in with white colour yarn and ornaments on a solid indigobackground, with an orange edge. Decorations include a four-petalled flower, aBuddhist offering in the form of a chandelier, stripes. Natural dyed indigo and orange factory-made yarns, and white hand-spun cotton yarn. Intact loop.
