The biblical text and the Targum have Tiberian vocalisation, the Judeo-Arabic translation and Rashi's commentary are not vocalised.

Usage stains, smudged ink stains.

Some leaves have been fixed, some of them are on guards.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 401: inscribed with his name on fols. 1r, 2r, 162r; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924: inscribed on back flyleaf (i)v; date of accession 20 March 1928: inscribed on fol. 162r.
