A collection of sermons for Sabbaths from the years 5488-5491 (1727/8-1730/1) and various halakhical texts.

ff. 1r-58vAuthor:Title: דרשות לשבתות מן השנים תפ"ח-תצ"א, חדושי הלכה ותלמוד, אגרות, שו"ת ועודTitle: Derashot le-Shabatot min ha-shanim 488-491, ḥidushe halakhah ṿe-Talmud, igrot, Shut ṿe-ʻodContains: Shemot Gitin (formulary of names for divorce documents) which were copied from the MS of "Rabbi Me’ir Ibn Benishti’s daughter" (fol. 21r), "Parpera’ot la-Hokhmah [amusing sayings of wisdom] by Rabbi Eshel" (fols. 22r-23r), "reasons given by Ibn Habib" (fols. 31v-33r), "Abridged responsa of Farji Mahama" (fols. 34r-35v), various versions of shetarot (legal documents) and Gitin (divorce documents) (fol. 50r etc.).
Among other items, one from the year תפ"ז (in 1727/8): the emissary Hiya ben Mosheh "known as Hayun" is mentioned, a text "a copy names by [..] Yosef ha-Levi" (fol. 52v), novellae by מהריק"ס (Ya’akov Kastro) (fols. 53v-55r), regulations "concerning renting yards and houses [..] from Egypt" (fols. 55r-55v), a copy from the responsum of Avraham Sekhander which was copied by Avraham Halevi (author of Ginat Veradim) (fol. 56v), from the writings of David Gershon (ibid).

Parallel Hebrew foliation in ink shows that at least 10 leaves are missing from the beginning (fol. 1 = fol. יא). Hebrew foliation includes leaves, which are unfoliated in the Arabic foliation.
Numerous foliated and unfoliated blank leaves. 26 blank leaves between f. 20 and f. 21 (they are not displayed in the digital surrogate).

Indeterminable (binding too tight).
No catchwords.
Condition
Water damage, iron gall ink corrosion.
Leaves are very fragile, with some holes (worm damage).
