The polemical poem on front flyleaves (ii)-(iii) has a censorship note in Russian, dated 18 December 1838 saying that the MS has been approved by the rabbi of Radoshkovichi who worked as a government censor (front flyleaves (ii)r and (iii)r): Одобрено цензурою Января 18 дня 1838 года. Front flyleaf (ii)r has another date as well: 1844.
Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 100: inscribed with his name on fol. 316v; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924: inscribed on back flyleaf (i)v; date of accession 12 September 1927: inscribed on fol. 316v.
