Parallel Hebrew foliation in ink shows that several leaves are missing at the beginning (starting from fol. 28?= fol. 1).

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 596; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924: inscribed on back flyleaf (i)v.
