Includes bakashot, psalms, poems for weddings and circumcisions and tahanunim (supplications). Many of them are by the copyist Jacob ben Paltiʾel. Includes also piyuṭim by Shelomoh ben Musa (שלמה בן מושא), Yaʿaḳov ben Menasheh, Raḥamim ben Ḥanam Nisim (רחמים בן חנם ניסים), Elisha ben Shemuʾel, Binyamin ben Daniʾel, etc.

According to the colophon, it was written by Jacob ben Paltiʾel in Tehran in 1882.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 677: inscribed with his name on fols. 1r, 80r; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 18 March 1831: inscribed on fol. 80v.
