Samaritan liturgy for Passover.

ff. 1r-138vAuthor:Title: תפלות מנהג שומרונים לפסחTitle: Tefilot minhag Shomronim le-Fesaḥ'Not the liturgy for Passover as indicated by Margoliouth and in the accessions register, but the services for the first (fol. 66r) and second of Nisan and the first(fol. 125v) and the second (ff. 133v and 137v) Sabbaths in Nisan. The text starts in the middle of the songs in praise of Moses and the associated ketafim.' (cf. Crown).
Incomplete at the beginning.
Colophons on ff. 5r and 138v. The upper half of the colophon on fol. 138v surrounded by a frame states that the copy was completed on Thursday 10 Rabī‘ I (= 1 Shubāṭ) 1197/13 February 1783 by Ghazāl ibn al-Marhūm Isḥāq ibn Ibrāhīm (غزال ابن المرحوم إسحاق ابن إبراهيم). The lower half of colophon also records records information about the patrons of the manuscript, namely one ‘Abduh Shalabī (?) ibn al-Marḥūm (عبده شلبي ابن المرحوم) and his sons Yūsuf (يوسف), Ya‘qūb (يعقوب) and ‘Abd al-Laṭīf (عبد اللطيف), and is dated 22 Jumādá (I ?) 1197/14 April (?) 1783.

Collation
20 quires of 10 leaves.
Signatures in Eastern Arabic numerals at the beginning and end of quires. Signature on fol. 1r shows that it is the beginning of quire 8, that is, 6 quires are missing from the beginning of the MS.
Catchword on every verso.
Condition
Usage stains, slight water damage.

Ownership(?) inscription on fol. 139v dated 17 Rabī‘ I 1244/27 September 1828 mentions ‘Abduh and (عبده) his son Ibn ‘Abduh ‘Abd al-Laṭīf ibn al-Marḥūm (ابن عبده عبد اللطيف ابن المرحوم).
Fol. 140v: reader's inscription: undated, by ‘Abduh and his son Ibn ‘Abduh (عبده وابن عبده).
Fol. 141v: ownership inscription: undated, of ‘Abduh Shalabī (?) ibn al-Marḥūm (عبده شلبي ابن المرحوم).
