Colophon on fol. 85r.
It was prepared for sale to the London MS market through Jacob B. Aaron and Jacob es-Shelaby. However Jacob b. Aaron gives no indication of the reconstruction in his colophon. Instead, he notes that he wrote it in the name of his two sons Joseph and Ozzi who, he hoped would learn Torah and wisdom from God.

10 quires: i10 (fols. 1-10), ii4 (fols. 11-14), iii10 (fols. 15-24), iv8 (fols. 25-32), v6 (fols. 33-38), vi8 (fols. 39-46), vii-viii10 (fols. 47-56, 57-66), ix10 (fols. 67-76), x10-1 (fols. 77-85).
Quires added by Jacob b. Aaron in 1871: i-ii (fols. 1-14), iv-v (fols. 25-38), vii (fols. 47-66), and 77-85.
Signatures in Eastern Arabic numerals at the beginning and end of quires of the older, 18th-century part.
No catchword.
Condition
Usage stains, smudged ink, water damage.
Fol. 46 is damaged, only the inner left corner has left.
A few holes in some of the leaves (e.g. fols. 53, 84).

Older and newer parts are clearly distinguishable. Older parts: brownish ink, larger characters, narrower outer margins; newer parts: black ink, smaller characters, wider outer margins.

Scribe of the 18th-century part is not known; scribe of the 19th-century part: Jacob b. Aaron, the High Priest.
