Five leaves of typewritten text is inserted at the beginning of the MS (called as front flyleaves (ii)-(vi) in the digital surrogate), and containing 2 letters: the first one is an evaluation of H. W. Sheppard's present work by George H. Box, Professor of Hebrew and O.T. Exegesis King's College, London, dated 14 March 1918; the second one is a letter to Sheppard from Alexander Nairne, dated 30 April 1918.
