Foliation in Arabic numerals in pencil.

Parallel Hebrew foliation in pen shows that at least 4 leaves are missing from the beginning (fol. 1=fol. א). It also indicates that there are several lacunae in the text (e.g. between fols. 69 and 70, and fol. 99= fol. ריט).

Fols. 64v, 115v, 125v, 141v, 146v, 164v, 177v, 178v,195v, 196r are blank.

Unfoliated blank pages (earlier Hebrew foliation is present) after fols. 82, 118, 138, 146, 151, 164.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 568; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924: inscribed on back flyleaf (i)v.
