ff. 1r-21vAuthor:Title: תפלות ופיוטיםTitle: Tefilot u-fiyuṭimḲabalat Shabbat prayer which includes the piyut ואל עולם נתנה שיר by Mordekhay Dato (fols. 1r-4v; Ps. 29 (fol. 5r); Ps. 23 (fol. 5v); the piyut לכה דודי by Shelomoh Elkabetz (fols. 6r-7r). Piyutim for the Ne’ilah prayer: אל נורא עלילה by Rabbi Avraham Ibn Ezra (fol. 7r-8r) and המבדיל בין קודש לחול..יצוה ה’ חסדו by Yitsḥaḳ (fols. 8v-9r); Exodus 13:1-13:16 to be recited after laying tefilin (fols. 9r-10r); Psalms 27, to recite in the first day of month Elul until Shemini Atseret. An excerpt from Pitum ha-Ketoret. Fols. 11r-20r: order of the Omer, followed by the piyut ידיד נפש by Elʿazar Azikri.

The number '318' is a duplicate numbering. The real Gaster 318 is in the JRL, Manchester. Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. ?: inscribed with his name on fols. 1r, 21v; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 12 March 1928.
