- This collection is a sample loaned to EAP 737 for a trial digitisation by the present owner of Vasen Studio in Karaikudi. The sample was chosen by the owner himself. Vasen Studio was opened in 1947 and is still run by the children and children of the founder. The full archive has been subsequently digitised, consisting of 905 images: 413 glass-plates, 440 film negatives, 52 prints.

The project digitised material from the private collection of Rajkumar (Vasen studio), son of S.K. Srinivasen, founder of Vasen Studio. The material was held by S.K. Srinivasen, founder of Vasen Studio. Presently the material is kept in the house of his youngest son Rajkumar.
