Colophon on f. 114r gives the place Séfrou (Morocco) and the datee 29 Adar [5]574 (1814).
Scribe's name under the colophon written in a calligraphic form, underneath the signature a later hand gave the name in pencil.

Inscription on front flyleaf (v)r: it was borrowed(?) by Barukh ben Shemuʾel from the owner Mordekhai ibn Laḥson ben Mosheh.
Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 1402; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924.
