Lipa Schwager (1882-1961) book seller: inscribed with his name on f. 1r.
Gaster apparently purchased the MS from Lipa Schwager (see printed excerpt from his catalogue describing the MS fixed on f. 1r).
Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 982: inscribed with his name on ff. 1r, 36v; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession: 18 March 1931.
