Collection of 199 prints of various sizes mounted on loose pages from a broken album, with 20 unmounted prints. This item was found in the India Office Collections, with no information as to its previous history. The contents consist mainly of snapshots dated between 1892-1901. The subjects include English scenes, two small snapshots of Sir William and Lady Gatacre (dated 1900) and a group including Maia Cusack-Smith and Tom Cusack-Smith (British High Commissioner, Samoa). Identified locations include: Epping, Culver, Gaynes Park, Hardwick, Hallingbury Place, Venice.
The majority of the portrait subjects featured in the photographs are identified by initials only, including: A.H.C-M, H.M.E., D.F.C-M., S. C-M., J.E.C-M., W.S.C-M., E.G.C., K.M.E.C-M., E.E.M.C-M. The photographer of one portrait of two children is identified as Mary Wintour.
