A poem in remembrance of the liberation of the Acqui community by the king Carlo Alberto in the year 1848.

F. 1v: 'Cantica A perenne memoria della Emancipazione civile e politica che addi 29. Marzo 1848. il Magnanimo Re Carlo Alberto Agli Israeliti de suoi felicissimi Stati concedeva Cantica del Sigr. David Terracini Rabbino dell' Universita Israelitica d'Acqui.'

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 1252; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 31 December 1931.
