Origin: 1300-1399 14th century ItalyProvenance and Acquisition
A certificate of a shoḥet named Matatyah ben Daṿid, of Sforno, signed by his teacher, Daṿid ʿAzriʾel, is supplied at the beginning of Sefer mivḥar ha-peninim, folio 264r, dated 9 Sivan (5)300.
Giovanni Domenico Carretto: Italian censor (fl. 1600-1624): inscribed with his name, 1618 (folio 280r); see [Popper_1969] 84.
Domenico Irosolimitano (fl. 1575 - 1624): inscribed with his name, 1592 (folio 280v); see [Popper_1969] 62-74.
Giuseppe Almanzi (b. 1801, d. 1860), bibliophile: his manuscript no. 32; his library including 322 medieval Hebrew manuscripts were purchased en bloc by the British Museum through Asher & Co. in October 1865 for £1,000 (see [Paisey_1997] 131-153), folio [282v].
