The present collection includes Psalms to be said in connection with benedictions at meals for week-days, Sabbaths and festivals, as well as a number of poetical pieces.

Condition

Defective at the beginning (the first leaf of the first quire is missing).

Stained.

Ink is fading on the last few pages.

Provenance and Acquisition

Avraham: inscribed (folio 88v).

Aharon: apparently a brother of the scribe, inscribed in the body of the text as the first recipient of the manuscript (folio 50v).

Adolphus Asher (b. 1800, d. 1853), Berlin bookseller and dealer to the British Museum 1841-1853: purchased from him on 24 May 1851: inscribed, [89v].
