Inscription in an initial-word panel: 'Yishmael, Nehemiah, Raphael, Hayim Ottolenghi, Judah Eliezer, Nahman, brothers, sons of Menahem' (folio 110v).

Italian inscription: belonged to the Foa Library in Reggio (front flyleaf (iv)v).

Thomas Rodd the younger (b. 1796, d. 1849): purchased from him by the British Museum on 21 September 1839: inscribed, back flyleaf (i)v.
