Ashkenazi square script, punctuated and accentuated, of 14th century. Shelomoh bar Yeḥiʾel, inscibed with his name on folio 32v, with a date of Nisan 5069 (1309).

Adam Clarke's inscription in Latin: Volumen secundum codicis G. Liber Jobi et Jeremia usque ad cap. xxiii.7. et ex Jesaia capita xxxiv.1- xxxv.10. ad calcem hujus voluminis haec legendus: 'Ego Salomo filius Jechiel scripti zeh ha-mechazor pro Rabbi ... filii Abrahami an. 5069 a creatione Mundi, octavo die mensis Nisan' = A.C. 1309. vid. cod. G. (front flyleaf (ii)v). Same hand: 'Liber iste scriptus fuit An. Mun. 5069 = An. Christ. 1309' (back flyleaf (ii)v).
Adam Clarke (b. 1762, d. 1832), Wesleyan Methodist minister and scholar: his bookplate with Greek inscription: ‘ho theos agape estin’(front flyleaf (ii)v). This manuscript formed part of the collection of ten Hebrew manuscripts, together with Add MS 9398-9407, once property of the Hagen family and then bought for Adam Clarke at Utrecht in 1823, acquired by the British Museum in 1834.
