Includes: Reshut Azharot by David ben Elʾazar Bakoda. Begins with the piyuṭ Amon Yom Zeh (אמון יום זה). Azharot by Shelomoh ben Gabirol, begins with שמור לבי מענה and Rabbi Yehudah ha-Levi’s azharot for the Shabbat ha-Gadol (the great Sabbath) of Passover, which begins with הקבצו ושמעו בני יעקב דת יוצרכם. At the bottom of the last leaf is the piyut קול מהלל יגדל, the headline is לראש השנה (for Rosh ha-Shanah).

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 389: inscribed with his name on f. 1r; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession: 4 February 1928.
