פ"ה = פירוש ההגדה.

Fragment of P.h. [perush hagadah] yesharim, a collection of commentaries on the Hagadah by various authors. Edited by Ḥaviv Toledano, who himself contributes a running commentary entitled Derekh ʾemunah.

The introduction by the editor is here preserved in a longer recension than in the printed edition (Livorno, 1838).

Foliation:

Foliation in Arabic numerals in pencil.

Parallel Hebrew foliation in ink; it shows that a leaf is missing before current f. 8 (it must have contained the beginning of Dine ha-Pesah).

Collation

Ff. 1-3, quire i4 (ff. 4-7), quire ii8 (ff. 8-15).

F. 4 is misplaced: it should be after f. 7 (cf. catchword and Hebrew foliation).

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 191; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 4 February 1928.
