ff. 21r-116rTitle: Sefer berit ha-menuḥahTitle: ספר ברית המנוחהThe first, third and fourth section is indicated by larger writing at the beginning on folio 26r, 80v, and 85v respectively. The other sections, which are not specially distinguished, begin respectively on folio 32r, 95v, 99r, 102v, 106v. There appear to be no sections marked after the 8th, possibly as a result of lacunae in the text.
Folios 112r-114r are blank, and folios 114v, 115r duplicate the contents of folio 74 (the right order being folios 115r, 114v).

Origin: 1700-1799 18th century ItalyProvenance and Acquisition
Folio 1r: an owner's entry relating to the transfer of the manuscript from Yesh῾ayah Rafael Azulai to the Almanzi family (written probably by Barukh ben Abraham Almanzi), dated 1821, Ancona.
Giuseppe Almanzi (b. 1801, d. 1860), bibliophile his manuscript no. 227; his library including 322 medieval Hebrew manuscripts were purchased en bloc by the British Museum through Asher & Co. in October 1865 for £1,000 through Asher & Co., Berlin dealer to the British Museum (see [Paisey_1997] 131-153); inscribed, back flyleaf (ii)v.
