ff. 1r-244vTitle: DerushimTitle: דרושיםThe first series of the derushim ends on folio 203r.
Folios 204-230 contain derushim on the weekly sections of Genesis and some other portions of the Pentateuch.
Folio 231 contains an index headed: Sefer mizmorim. The column for the Psalms has not been filled in.
Folios 232-241 embody further sipurim from a musaric Sefer ha-yashar.
The rest of the manuscript contains some midrashic notes headed Kelale midrashim ve-ḥidushim ha-Torah.

Quires of mostly 10-12 leaves each (irregular).
Condition
Several folios slightly mutilated.Slightly stained.
The ink has eaten through the pages.

Visible vertical pencil ruling, frequently not respected by the scribe (e.g. folio 97r). Often no space is left for the margins.
Several scribal erasures.
Many pages left half or entirely blank (e.g. 227r-228r, 243r-244r).
Watermark (recurrent) in the shape of a capricorn or a horse, undertermined.

Giuseppe Almanzi (b. 1801, d. 1860), Italian bibliophile: his manuscript no. 292: inscribed, back flyleaf (ii)v; 322 Hebrew manuscripts were acquired from his library in October 1865 through Asher & Co., Berlin dealer to the British Museum 1841-1853.
