Hair side and flesh side are distinguishable.

The square writing of the biblical text is arranged in the cetre in two columns; the semi-cursive writing of the commentary occupies upper, lower and outer side margins.

Sefardi square script, partially punctuated, of the 15th century. Menaḥem Shimshon Tsarfati: inscribed with his name in the colophon at the end of Malachi, together with Yehudah Finacchi (?): dated 27 Nisan 5207, folio 178r.
