The writer distinguishes between the minhag of most of Ashkenaz and its local derivations (see e.g. fols. 13v, 19v). There are references to Minhagim of Mahari"l (e.g. 42r, 16r, 26r).

The table of contents (folios 75v-77r) is imperfect at the end.

Giuseppe Almanzi (b. 1801, d. 1860), Italian bibliophile: his manuscript no. 125 [part]: 322 Hebrew manuscripts were acquired from his library in October 1865 through Asher & Co., Berlin dealer to the British Museum (see [Paisey_1997] 131-153): inscribed, back flyleaf (i)v.
