ff. 1r-3rAuthor:Title: התרי שחיטה בעד אהרן פונטרימולי ובנו חננאלTitle: Hetere sheḥiṭah beʿad Aharon Ponṭrimoli u-veno ḤananʾelThey were given by 'Ḥakhme "Ḳasal" Monferato' in the years 5445-5467 (1684/5-1707).
The permissions were granted to "Aharon son of our honourable teacher Ḥananʾel Pon[tremoli]". Permissions were granted by: Shimshon ben Meʾir Bacchi, Yosef Azriʾel ben Yehoshu’a Aharon Kohen, Avraham ben Yosef Hayyim Geron and Gavriʾel Shelomoh Pontremoli.
On back flyleaf (xxxiii)v: 'Extracted from a printed book (C.50*.a.2).' The printed book this note is referring to is Jacob Weil's Sheḥiṭot (Mantua, 1556).
