Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 405: inscribed with his name on ff. 1r, 307v ; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 20 March 1928(?).
