Ashkenazi semi-cursive script of the 15th century, in black ink, with numerous word underlines in red.

Provenance and Acquisition

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 1220: inscribed with his name on ff. 1r, 17v; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924.
