M. Gaster's note on back flyleaf (i)r: 'This MS has been given me by Samuel Rahamim son of Raḥamim Samuel Talkar whilst in London, and the eve of his journey to India. Tuesday 17. Febr. 908/68. (v. also codices No. 742-741).'
Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 903; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 8 April 1930.
