This codex was copied from a manuscript dated 1426, which is now in the Bodleian Library, MS. Oppenheim Add. 4° 28 ( [Neubauer_1891] 1095). See the original colophon on folio 74v.

Colophon: ונשלמו בסיעתא דשמיא פה בעיר רודוס על ידי לי תולעת ולא איש משה בכ"ר יצחק גרסיאן ביום ג' בכ"ד לטבת שנת הקפו ויקיים עלי מקרא דכתיב לא ימוש ספר התורה [...] ובקשה מכל הקורא בספר הזה שידין לכף זכות המחבר והמעתיק. f. 74v

Provenance and Acquisition

Giuseppe Almanzi (b. 1801, d. 1860), bibliophile; his manuscript no. 89: his library including 322 medieval Hebrew manuscripts were purchased en bloc by the British Museum in October 1865 for £1,000 through Asher & Co., Berlin dealer to the British Museum (see [Paisey_1997] 131-153: inscribed, folio [76v].
