ff. 1r-112vTitle: Or yaḳar (Bereshit)Title: אור יקר (בראשית)The volume combines two originally different manuscripts. Folios 1-76 comprise the commentaries on Tiḳune ha-Zohar 69 and 70 (at the end of Cordovero's commentary on the Zohar on Bereshit), and commentary on the Zohar on Bereshit, gate 1 part 1 to gate 5 part 6. There are some short lacunae in the middle of this part.
Folios 77-112 contain parts of the commentary on the Zohar on Bereshit, partly agreeing with the preceding portion of the manuscript, gate 4, parts 1-18.

Giuseppe Almanzi (b. 1801, d. 1860), bibliophile; his manuscript no. 172: his library including 322 medieval Hebrew manuscripts were purchased en bloc by the British Museum in October 1865 for £1,000 through Asher & Co., Berlin dealer to the British Museum (see [Paisey_1997] 131-153: inscribed, back flyleaf (ii)v.
