Giuseppe Almanzi (b. 1801, d. 1860), Italian bibliophile: his manuscript no. 174: inscribed, back flyleaf (ii)v; 322 Hebrew manuscripts were acquired from his library in 1865 through Asher & Co., Berlin dealer to the British Museum (see [Paisey_1997] 131-153).
