Sefardi semi-cursive and square script of the 15th century.
Additions:A description of the manuscript, taken from the Schwager-Frankel’s catalogue 11 (1906), No. 11), is glued onto front flyleaf (i)r.
At the end of the manuscript on f. 17r is a note by a different hand about the Messiah and the resurrection of the dead.

Post-1600. Blue cloth binding. Original binding is inserted into the new binding at the end of the volume.

Owner's inscription on f. 1r: "יחיאל נחמן פואה".
Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 1085; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 6 November 1931.
