ff. 1r-35vAuthor:Title: חדושים על התורה, התלמוד; תשובות, גימטריאות ועודTitle: Ḥidushim ʿal ha-Torah, ha-Talmud; teshuvot, gimaṭriʾot ṿe-ʿodA common-place book containing notes mainly halakhical on Bible, Talmud, midrash, the halakhic works of Maimonides, etc.
Compiled by a German rabbi in the 18th century.
F. 21r: the compiler deals with a question put to him by the Sefardim when he was in London, as to the varying practices prevailing amongst the Ashkenazim and Sefardim with regard to blowing the shofar.
Some of the novellae are apparently by Jonathan Eybeschuetz (f. 5v).
There are referenses to David Frankel, the Chief Rabbi at Berlin (f. 10r), and to Loeb Hamburg (ff. 10r, 16v). Other names mentioned are Jacob Hamburger, Benjamin Frankel and Joseph Levi (all on f. 12r) and Aaron Emmerich (f. 18r).
Dates are given on ff. 10r and 13r.
