A collection of liturgical poems, punctuated, accompanied by a commentary of Mordekhai Dato.

ff. 1r-58vTitle: ShirimTitle: שיריםFolio [iv recto] contains the autograph title of Mordekhai Dato.
After the first poem (Mizmor shir yom Shabat) and its commentary (folios 1r-6v), there is a combination of sentences representing rashe tevot of Gen. 1:1, 1:3, Ex. 1:1, 21:1; Lev. 1:1 (folios 6v-8r), Piyuṭ le-motse Shabat (folios 8r-14r), and additional poetical pieces (beginning on folios 14r, 18v, 22v, 32r, 34v, 35r, 35v, 36v, 37r, 45v, 50r respectively). Each of the poems is headed by an explanation of the reasons that have prompted their composition. On some occasions also the date of composition is given by the author.
There are 9 homiletical entries, starting from folio 48v, and a note in a different handwriting, relating to certain homilies contained in the volume.
The manuscript is bound together with Add MS 27097.
