ff. 1r-92vTitle: Teḥilat davar: ḥibur be-ḥokhmat ha-higayonTitle: תחלת דבר : חבור בחכמת ההגיוןA treatise on logic. An autograph, with frequent corrections by the author himself. The work consists of a preface, intrudiction and two chapters.
The work ends with a list of syllogisms with the usual designations on one side (in Latin script), and with Hebrew terms on the other.
Folios 89r-91v contain a table of contents, and on folio 92r there is an additional piece with some rhymed lines at the end.

Folio 1r: a former owner's note, Joseph Almanzi.
Giuseppe Almanzi (b. 1801, d. 1860), bibliophile; his manuscript no. 215: his library including 322 medieval Hebrew manuscripts were purchased en bloc by the British Museum in October 1865 for £1,000 through Asher & Co., Berlin bookseller and dealer to the British Museum: inscribed, back flyleaf (iii)v.
