Watermarks on folio 2 and back flyleaf (i). The first watermark is a hand, the second watermark is a vase with a crescent at the top and a monogramm (CO?), similar to [Heawood_1950] 3603 (dated to 1646, England).Uniform layuot.

Hair side and flesh side of folios distinguishable.
Marginal notes and smaller omissions from text added by later hand.

Italian semi-cursive script, not punctuated, of the 15th century. Shelomoh ben Mosheh ben Shelomoh ha-Rofeʾ: inscribed in the colophon, folio 231r.
