Signatures at the end of the quires, partially preserved (first extant on folio 27v).
Condition
Defective at the beginning.
Lacunae after folios 3, 11, 19.
Much damaged in the margins.
Stained.

Adolphus Asher: (b. 1800, d. 1853), Berlin bookseller and dealer to the British Museum (see Paisey, D., 'Adolphus Asher (1800-1853): Berlin bookseller, Anglophile, and friend to Panizzi' British Library Journal 12 (1997), pp. 131-153): purchased from him on 12 November 1853: inscribed (folio [107v]).
