75 membranes, with wooden rollers. Silk mantle.
Condition
Small surface abrasions, especially over folds, and delamination.
Some pleats and cockling.
Minor water damage; small area of salt accretion and a few stains at edges.
Slight worming at one join.
Mantle damaged and fragile.

262 columns in total, one to five columns per membrane.
The second דרש of Lev. 10:16 is not placed at the beginning of the line.
Three tagin on שעטנזגץ, and one on בדהיק, the letter ח is occasionally arched.
Several instances of majuscular and minuscular letters.
Special shapes of the letter נ, פ and broken ו occur.
The "puncta extraordinaria" placed on the words fixed by masorah, except Gen. 16:5.
Wooden rollers (currently kept in a separate box).

Bought by the British Museum, using the Bridgewater fund (£12,000 bequeathed in 1829 by Francis Henry Egerton, 8th Earl of Bridgewater (b. 1756, d. 1829).
