Paper codex of the 16th century. Various scripts and layouts suggest that the volume was put together from different manuscripts, but the paper has the same watermark throughout the volume.

Support: All three parts have the same paper: with laid lines and chain lines; watermark: a hand with a six-petal flower over it (similar to Heawood, no. 2475, dated 1516) (e.g. ff. 3, 5, 8, 14, 17).

Rhyming ownership inscription in Italian on f. 9v: 'Questo libro e di carta chi è orbo non lo guarda è se piace a qualcheduno se ne vada a comprar uno com' ho fatto ancor'io questo libro è mio Raffael Vitta Monseles.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 7; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 5 July 1927.
