Hand(s)
Italian semi-cursive script, unpunctuated, of the 15th century. Shabtai ben Yehoshu῾a ofTivoli and Shemu᾿el ben Menaḥem: their names inscribed in the colophon (162r) and the opening note (3r), Fiorentino?, 1488. Scribe's name is often marked by the initial letters in the lines of a page.

Folio 28r - has censor's erasure.
Folios 1v-2v - an English translation by John Noble Coleman of one of the anti-Christian passages from the commentary.
Three partially illegible owners' notes in Hebrew, folio 162v, one of them dated 371 (1611).
Rev. John Noble Coleman (b. 1793, d. 1872): scholar of the Bible at Queen's College, Oxford: his bookplate affixed to folio 1v and another to the [inner side of the outer cover]. On folio 2r there is a memorandum stating that Granville Sharp (b. 1734, d. 1813), theologian and lawyer, was a previous owner of this manuscript, from whom Coleman bought it for 3 guineas.
