Small artist sketchbook containing both pen and ink drawings and drawings coloured with watercolour. Folios are annotated with both captions, as well as the artist's notes regarding colour and commentary about the views. The views document his/her journey from Calcutta along the Hoogly and up the Ganges through Bihar (Rajmahal Hills, Munger, Danapur, Revelganj, and Ghazipur). Few of the drawings are dated 1849. Album only contains f. 5-28.
