The scroll is made up of a number of fragments pieced together to complete the Pentateuch.

Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers begin with a new column, four lines being left blank at the end of the preceding column. Every column begins with a new verse, and the initial letter is usually ו.

The Song of Moses, Exodus 15, and the five lines of text preceding and following it are written according to the rule.

The Song Ha᾿azinu in Deuteronomy 32 written in 67 lines. It is preceded by six lines with usual initial words, and one blank line. Verses 44-47 are arranged in five lines.

Special shape of the letter פ occurs frequently.

The "puncta extraordinaria" placed on the words fixed by masorah.

In most of the fragmetns the end of a verse and of a half-verse marked by a dry-point. An upper dry point sometimes distinguishes between כל, את, הוא and כל-, את-, הוא-.
