Watermarks on folio 2 and back flyleaf (i). The first watermark is a hand, the second watermark is a vase with a crescent at the top and a monogramm (CO?), similar to [Heawood_1950] 3603 (dated to 1646, England).Pricking and hard-point ruling are visible.
Hair side and flesh side are distinguishable.
Folio 194r-194v is a later reconstruction.
Deleted and rewritten section on folio 25v.

Sephardi semi-cursive script of the 15th century, unpunctuated.
f. 19r and f. 25v - contain two erased passages, which have been restored by a later hand.

ʾAvraham ʾibn ʿEzraʾ ha-Sefaradi (author): inscribed with his name in the author’s colophon (40v).
Moses Wilhelm Shapira (b. 1830, d. 1884), an antiquities dealer of Jerusalem: his inscription (?): This book was purchased by me from one of the chief Rabbis in Jerusalem in Ocotber 1868... (covered by a paper slip glued over it); bought from him, 24 November, 1877: inscribed, back flyleaf (ii)r.
